1. Do you have experience with our type of event?
Yes. We have extensive professional DJ & MC service experience entertaining for special events throughout Puget Sound ranging from a wedding reception, corporate event, birthday party, mitzvah, holiday party, anniversary party, class reunion, school dance, sock hop and lots more.
2. Can we request songs, how extensive is your music library?
Yes. Your requests/playlists are welcomed. Our DJ music library features over 250,000 songs covering every music format from the 1930’s Swing Era to Today’s New Hits. We also have an extensive selection of special music available for wedding ceremonies & themed-party events.
3. Do you provide planning assistance?
Yes, for Free. Upon booking us we'll email you our exclusive "Perfect Event Planning Forms" to guide you along in customizing your special event. PLUS, our Lead Event Planner is available by phone or email to answer your questions and assist you in creating your event timeline.
4. Do you provide MC service and timeline management?
Yes. This is where our VALUE really shines! When you hire Music De-Lite DJ Service you also get a "Certified" Master of Ceremonies / Timeline Manager to guide & direct your evening's flow of events and make announcements. Everyone will know when and what is happening.
5. Do you include a cordless microphone for speeches?
Yes. Our DJ service includes a high-quality wireless microphone for toasts and speeches. We can also provide sound system / audio support services for musicians and performers.
6. Do you have party lighting, up-lighting, projector/screen, karaoke?
Yes. We can up-light a single wall or a whole room. We can also provide beautiful room-glow ambiance lighting to give your event a sensational hue of color on tables, walls, and the ceiling. Plus, we offer dance floor party lighting, cake/dessert table lighting, custom head table lighting, video projector/big screen setup for a slide show, and karaoke.
7. Can you provide sound in multiple rooms or different locations?
Yes. We do multiple sound setups often at weddings when the ceremony location is 75 feet or further from the reception area, or your event is an in/outdoor or up/downstairs combo.
At many venues the cocktail hour is held in a different spot altogether, resulting in sound setups essentially being needed in 2-3 areas to cover your entire event seamlessly. We can handle all of your sound system needs and offer a generator too when power is needed. This critical part is often overlooked when people shop for a DJ, most DJs only have 1 basic sound system.
Caution. If your wedding venue says they have a speaker system you can use, all too often it's small speakers that are okay for light-background music but not when it's party time and the music is turned up for high-energy dancing in a room full of people. Our pro audio dance music sound system is your best bet if you want reliable great sound at your event.
We are totally equipped to provide your special event with great sound wherever you need it. The cost is minimal for extended sound or extra setups. Call us for a candid recommendation.
8. Our DJ service rate is very reasonable.
Music De-Lite (aka) Music Delight provides the very best in customized DJ & MC Service.
Our DJ rate can vary a bit based on the date, hours, location, number of sound setups needed and other service options you may wish to add-on (up-lighting, dance floor lighting, illuminated name monogram on a wall, video/projector screen for a slide show, karaoke, etc.).

9. Do you charge for set-up/tear-down time?
No. We don't charge extra fees for set-up/tear-down time, going up stairs or loading on a boat.
10. How soon should we book you?
Prime dates (Saturdays year-round) usually book up 6 months to a year in advance. During wedding season (March - October: Friday, Saturday & Sunday dates) can go fast. The best thing to do is call or email us now to check availability for your date, event hours, and venue/town.
